Far within the Fouta Jallon Highlands the source of the beautiful Gambia River and the source from Alex Haleys" Roots" and this was the Roots of that!
It begins in a spring on wind swept terrain and slowly moves and comes together to become one of the worlds largest navigatable waterways and a seven hundred mile journey .
The Moody Blues wrote this beautiful song "The Tide Rushes In" Which I did a dis service to- glad you enjoyed it.
